Child Development
Working for universal, free neighborhood child and parent programs to ensure healthy children ages 0 - 6. Child Development Programs are organized through each of our three neighbourhood centers:

Parenting Program with Power of Play, Children’s Caravan (Toy Lending), Learning Through Play, Early Parenting Group and Multicultural Women’s Group with Children’s Activities
Daystrom Neighbourhood Center

Healthy Lifestyles
Promoting three fundamentals of good health: wise food choices, stress reduction activities and an active lifestyle.
Multiculturalism and Outreach
Helping newcomers to fully participate in programs and in all aspects of life in Canada.
Socio-Recreational Programs for School-Aged Children
Developing and advocating for well-supervised, skill-building recreational programs for children of age 6 and up.
Volunteer Opportunities
Developing volunteer opportunities to provide work experience for local residents.
Work and Economy
Providing social support and direction for unemployed and underemployed people. Assisting local people to market their skills.
Youth and Mentoring
Working for opportunities to support youth in making wise lifestyle choices. Involving older youths and adults as mentors for local young people.
